 One of the disadvantages of immortal youth was that it sometimes limited her options. If she wanted something fresh and young, she needed to be where the fresh and young people where, and gods, their music was awful. What happened to the good old days of violins and organs?

So imagine her surprise as she viewed the buffet to find one snack that looked older than most. She raised an eyebrow - he didn't seem to be in any midlife crisis. The exact opposite, in fact - like if he had any real choice, he wouldn't be here. Well... she could fix that for him.

She licked her lips, and then made her way across the room. A gorgeous beauty like her, it was like parting the ocean waves with a hand. She was by his side within seconds, sizing him up.

Nice, very nice. He even smelled delicious.

"Congratulations, you're the most miserable person here, and I think that includes the janitor."

The palm of his hand and the tips of his fingers got definite shivers. Gods, what was it about those parts of him that made him react like that? (Was he really that desperate for tactile contact?)

"I think I found it~." She said in a sing-song manner, before taking his ring finger and sucking on it playfully.

He wiggled a little closer to her as she did so, simply relaxing as she give his fingers her attention. Gods, he really just wanted to stay right here.

"Is it really a weakness if I like it?" he asked.

"Oh, don't ruin my fun." As a 'punishment', she nipped the edge of his finger.

"Oh no...whatever shall I do?" he asked in a voice that was obviously trying to suppress laughter. He completely flopped down. "I am powerless."

"You'll be a good victim and let me have my way." She curled her tongue around his finger and began to suck.

[richestduck]

"Strength...fading...unable to...resist...talking like...some famous actor..." he gasped.

[lifesa_witch]

"You're really ruining the sexy atmosphere." She poked his stomach.

[richestduck]

He made a mocking squeak, trying to keep his mind away from the clock.

"Oh, are you mocking me?" She tried to tickle his stomach.

[richestduck]

"Not ticklish, remember?" he asked, bemused.

[lifesa_witch]

"True, true... let's see..." She then shoved her hands right under his shirt, feeling him up.

He held still, wondering just what she was up to. He wasn't ticklish, so tickling him was out. And it wasn't like she hadn't felt his chest before...

She leaned down and gave him a kiss. "Sometimes, I think of giving you a nice little scar. One that's all mine."

[richestduck]

"Marking your territory?" he mused, smirking.

[lifesa_witch]

"Making sure you never forget." She smirked right back.

[richestduck]

"As if I ever could," he said, the smirk turning into a soft smile.

[lifesa_witch]

"Hm... all right. The sweetness saves you from scars." Another kiss.

[richestduck]

He raised a hand to pull her down a bit to make the kiss last. After about a minute, he let her back up.

Ah, but it felt so good, why stop? She kissed him again and again, slowly pulling hr hands away.

He returned each kiss, trying to lose himself in it.

But in the back of his mind...tick...tick...tick...

"I don't suppose you know any magic that makes time stop?" he murmured between kisses.

[lifesa_witch]

"Would that I could," she replied, kissing his cheek. "I'd keep you here with me forever."

[richestduck]

"I wouldn't mind it," Scrooge told her honestly.

Because then it would be the best of both worlds: He'd be able to stay in this sanctuary as long as he pleased yet wouldn't be abandoning his responsibilities.

She laid down on his chest. Could she really do nothing to keep his mind away from the clock? It was frustrating.

"It's really unfair."

[richestduck]

"I'm sorry," Scrooge murmured, holding her close. He buried his face in her hair. "I'm sorry."

He wanted to stay. What did the rest of the world have to offer him? Loneliness, bitterness, anger?

But his sense of responsibility wouldn't shut up. He wasn't allowed to just walk away from everything.

Unfortunately, she would feel her hair start to get a bit wet as a few tears slipped free.
