Scrooge fell into angry silence as they continued walking to her room. Then he reached up to place his hand on the small of her back, massaging it slightly. She likely still felt tense from everything going on.

She frozen, hand on the doorknob.

"... What are you doing?"

"Relax," he told her, his voice low and rumbling.

He removed his hand from her back and placed it on her shoulder, his free hand going to her other shoulder. He began kneading them in a massage.

Her mind spun, trying to find what trick he was pulling in oh wow he found those knots quick. She looked around - was on of her family members around, so they needed to pretend to be lovey dovey? "Who's there?"

"Just you and me," he told her as he guided her into her room, hands never leaving her shoulders or stopping the massage.

"Hang on-" What what what what? She wound in the room, hands still on her, her cheeks flaring. "I... I don't know what you're planning, but I swear to the gods, Scrooge..."

He leaned close to her, his breath on her neck. "Relax..."

WOW.

Every single nerve in her spine instantly tingled. No way she was going to relax now. "Okay, I g-get it, Adelia must have slipped you something!" She babbled, feeling dizzy. After all, she'd never been touched - more accurately, had never allowed anyone to touch - her like this before.

He guided her to the bed, making her sit down sideways on the edge of it so he could settle in behind her.

"Do you like that?" he purred.

OKAY THEY WERE ON HER BED. Part of her wanted to bolt, but it was like her legs had turned in jelly.

"Uh." Words were getting difficult to say. "I don't... I like... Granny enchanted you, that's it!"

Scrooge didn't answer her, moving his hands farther down her back to get at every little knot.

"Or Minima! She put you up to this! She always has a way, that brat, Mini-maaaaaa..."

The word unintentionally stretched out as a result of him undoing a particularly rough knot that seemed to instantly melt under his fingers.

He slowly kneaded each part of her back before resting his hands on her hips and pulling her closer to him. He still said nothing, simply allowing her to relax with her back against him.

She was so warm now she was starting to wonder if she'd suddenly undergone malaria. Her body may have been relaxing - save for a thudding pulse starting between her thighs - but her mind certainly wasn't. Her head was spinning as she helplessly found herself unable to move or speak coherently.

"Or, uh... it's... you know... the..."

He chuckled, and she could likely feel the sound rumbling in his chest due to her back leaning against it.

"Having trouble coming up with excuses?"

He then leaned in to ruffle the feathers of her neck with his beak before he placed his beak close to her ear.

"Would you like me to stay tonight?"

Magica bit down on her lip, terrified of the possibility of giving him an answer. But she couldn't completely kill the response, resulting in a little muffled whimper, her body shaking like a leaf.

And that was precisely what he was after. He wrapped an arm around her, palm flat to her stomach, and murmured, "Told you so."

It was like being being hit with a bucket of ice water.

"I'm going to murder you and make it look like an accident."

Scrooge snickered as he released her, getting up and giving her a saucy little flick of his tail feathers for good measure. "Lucky for me, you can't do that until after this charade is over with unless you want your magic to backfire on you."

"I'm starting to think it would be worth it!" She snapped, grabbing a pillow to throw at his head.

He tilted his head out of the way as he laughed. "Looking forward to tomorrow night~!"

"EAT ALL THE BUGS, SCROOGE MCDUCK!" She threw every pillow at him she could find, before heading to the bathroom for a long, cold shower.

Scrooge snickered as he shut the door, hearing the repeated whumps of pillows smacking into the wood.

Honestly, that had almost been too easy.

...And perhaps it had been a bit nice to see her turn to putty in his hands...
