Stumbling back a bit, he had to cling to the door to not fall over completely. Then with a grumble he closed it and followed after her. "Just don't mess with anything," he retorted.

Well, if by 'don't mess with anything' he meant, 'please feel free to pick up and look at whatever you want', that's exactly what she was doing.

"This doesn't make any sense. Your Uncle is the world's richest duck!"

With a squawk, Donald hurried to catch things that weren't put back quite right, glaring at her back. "Yeah well, he didn't get rich by giving money away," he retorted with a huff. "Least of all to me."

"What about the little bra-"

Okay, she didn't plan on making friends, but even she knew that this guy had some affection for the gremlins living with him, so maybe she could ease up on the language.

"... Children? Is your meager salary really able to take care of all of them, plus yourself, and now a wife?"

"Er..." He hesitated a long moment, thinking. "We'll uh...We'll figure something out." So that was a big No.

"... So let me get this straight."

She faced him fully, eyebrow raised. "Your insanely rich uncle knows these children have no one else, that they depend on you alone, and now you're getting a bride, and he still isn't going to lift a finger to help you or them?"

She let that hang in the air due to disbelief. "You know, originally I only planned to steal from him, but now I want to turn him into a worm. A small, gross one."

"Look, he's not that bad," Donald protested. "I mean, even if he doesn't help out...directly...he does let my rent slide here and there." He knew Scrooge tried to be sneaky about it, writing it off as just adding it to payment later. But he'd caught on that Scrooge was far more lenient about his rent than the old miser claimed to be.

"How charitable of him." She replied dryly. Pathetic as Donald was, she could feel sorry for him. "Especially considering the reason behind this is to have a fourth child for you to take care of."

He snorted. "Yeah well...since this is partly his idea, maybe he'll be more inclined to float me some money." He highly doubted it, but he can dream.

That sounded like a very iffy maybe. Magica tapped her foot, trying to make a decision.

"... Then the only way we're all going to survive, if you won't move, is if I bring my side-business here. And you need to get real comfortable with witches and warlocks coming in and out of here."

He couldn't help a worried frown. "What side business is that?"

"I sell potions." She explained, waving a hand about. "It's one of my specialties... and witches and warlocks carry much more cash than your average mortal." She just had way less as she used them for her Scrooge-capades.

He frowned a bit, thinking. "Well...I guess that isn't so bad," he admitted. "...These...witches and warlocks won't...do anything, right? They'd just buy the potions and go?"

"Aside from laughing at my miserable luck?" She huffed, crossing her arms. "No, they won't care about you and your boys. Think of it like a bookstore - they just want to get what they came for."

He nodded. "That should work then." Still, he couldn't leave her earning everything. While this was still the last thing he wanted, he had enough pride in him that wouldn't leave her as the sole breadwinner for their family. ...Or...whatever they were supposed to be. "I'll probably have to work for Uncle Scrooge for a while until I find something better."

"Or until I find the way out of the magical contract." She reminded him with a wag of her finger. "Speaking of which..."

She then shoved something into his hands - her black purse. "Hold this. And for the next couple of minutes, whatever happens, don't let go."

"That too." He blinked a bit as she handed him the purse. "Uh...?"

She reached into the purse and pulled out a single black wand. She waved it about...

The purse than began to shake violently - before a gigantic whirlwind began to spin our, throwing out all the tomes, potions, brooms, and so on and so forth from her home on Mount Vesuvius.

"Wak!" To his credit, he somehow managed to keep hold of the purse, even through all of that. But just barely.

And to be fair, she was telling the truth - it only took a few minutes. With one last "burp", the whirlwind ended, and a large raven flew out of the purse, taking his place on his special wooden perch.

"There. I'm all set."

There was a cauldron over the fireplace, magic tomes next to Donald's mystery books, and a few extra cobwebs in addition to... well, the usual cobwebs in Donald's house.

Looking around, he couldn't help grumbling. "Well, make yourself at home, I guess," he muttered sarcastically. Honestly, there weren't exactly a lot more things she'd added. And it was a small price to pay for not having to move. But that wouldn't stop him from grousing a bit anyway.

"There's one last addition to make." She announced, and headed for the window. She stuck two fingers in her mouth, and made a high-pitch whistle.

After a minute, Ratface flew into the house, cawing loudly.

Donald had to duck, just barely avoiding the bird that swooped over his head. "Seriously?" he grumbled. He wouldn't even let the boys have a pet.

She gave him a glare, with Ratface using the TV as a perch. "What are you complaining about now? Haven't you ever heard of a witch's familiar?"

"Considering you're the first witch I've ever really met? No." Still, with another huff, he shrugged. What else could he do? "Just as long as you're cleaning up after him."
