he was a sk8ter boi she said see you later boy (scrooge x magica)
If Magica's older brother had actually been on time to pick her up from school for once, she would have been stunned. With the building almost completely empty at this hour, Magica continued playing on her phone, sitting on a bench outside. She could have easily waited for a bus or called a cab, but truth be told she was in no rush to get home. She hated her home. She hated her family. There was very little she didn't hate.
Still, it was getting a little chilly, and at this rate her phone would soon be dead. She sighed, contemplating calling Poe, but knowing it'd make little difference. He'd get there... eventually, if he didn't have another DUI wreckage on the way there.
She shook her head, trying to dispel her thoughts and concentrate on the phone, keeping up to date on the latest trends and fashions, like a good De Spell was supposed to. As such, she was oblivious to any company that was heading her way.

Magica, for her part, was enjoying Scrooge ripping her brother apart. Woof.
"What I drink... What I do is none of your affair, McDuck! You'd best stay out of it, if you know what's good for you!" But it was the empty threat of a coward, given how he was clearly inching back to the taxi.

Scrooge lifted his head imperiously, looking towards the taxi driver. The man in the cab looked like he wanted to start laughing his head off. "What's your name?"
"Johnson, sir."
"Mr. Johnson, could you please take this man back to his place of residence swiftly and safely? He's an annoyance but I'll not have McDuck Cabs' good name besmirched by a shoddy job."
"Of course, Mr. McDuck!"

For once, Magica was barely paying attention to the insults. Her focus was on her gallant knight.

Magica was shaking again, but this time, it was definitely not out of fear. She'd never seen anyone give her family such a tongue lashing - who would dare? Her thighs were tight together, trying not to throw herself at him.
"You..." She finally managed to mumble, her breath feeling hot. "You didn't have to do that." But boy, was she glad he did.

"I just wish there was some way I could... thank you, for being so gallant." Realistically, she knew he wouldn't take up the offer, walk over to the nearest hotel, rent the closest room, and have them "thank" their brains out.

"I... couldn't... take up more of your kindness."

"Well, if you insist, I suppose it'd be rude to decline."

He reached into his pocket for his flip phone, opening it up and dialing. He held the phone to his ear.
"Launchpad, slight change in plans. We'll be dropping off Magica at her home." He paused, frowning. "Say that again and I'll dock yer pay. Just get here as soon as ye can."

SCREEEEEEEECH! Never had the squealing of tires and the smell of burnt rubber seemed so heavenly before.
The limo drifted into the parking lot, stopping precisely in front of them, leaving a few skid marks on the nice clean pavement.
Launchpad hopped out and came around, opening the door to let them in. "Hi, Mr. McDee! Mr. McDee's friend!"
Scrooge sighed as he motioned for Magica to go first. "Just tell him the address, Magica."

She gave him the address before climbing inside, smoothing down her dress.

Scrooge climbed in after her, Launchpad shutting the door behind him.
The driver ran around to his door.
"Take it slow, Launchpad. We've both had an excellent dinner, and she's not used to your driving."
"You got it, Mr. McDee!"
Of course, Launchpad's slow was everybody else's normal driving speed. A bit dull but at least Scrooge had company in the backseat.
Only for Launchpad to "help" by playing whatever mix CD he'd put together and the first song crooning "It's a daaaaaaate~" into the backseat.
Scrooge groaned, reaching up to lower his top hat over his face. "I'm docking your pay."

"I take it all your... other meetings, usually don't end this way?" She teased.

"It's a daaaaaaaaaate!" the song chimed in again.
