He held her close, deepening the kiss for a moment before drawing back again.

Then, somehow, he managed to pick her up while getting to his feet, spinning her around with him.

She exploded with laughter as he spun her around, throwing her head back.

"Donaaaald! The ring'll slide off!"

He laughed, slowing the spin to a stop.

"Aww, all right," he pretended to grouse - or tried to anyway, but he was just so darn happy that the tone just wasn't there, especially because he couldn't stop grinning. "But we should do something to celebrate!"

"Yes, of course!" But what? She looked around the park - why not set out to do what they originally planned?

"I say this calls for a boat ride."

Glancing over towards the lake, he smiled and turned back to her with a sweeping, though still playful bow. "As you wish, m'lady."

Daisy gave him a playful shove once he was straight up, though she latched onto his arm soon enough.

"Hubby~."

He chuckled. "Not yet. But soon."

Very soon.

"Aw, let me practice."

Not soon enough. But she could wait, perhaps.
