Fluttershy & Discord - Hades & Persephone
One would think that being immortal meant immortal patience as well. But this was not the case, nor would it even be again, now that she'd made an unknowing yet last impact upon his dark soul. He had to have her, and had to have her now, before any other unworthy wretch finally realized her grace and beauty. Her opinion never factored into his desires.
Now he was watching her in the sunlight, his claws digging into the trees as he hid in the shadows. If he merely appeared, he'd scare her off, so he needed to lure her into his grasp. But by all of his stalking, he knew her well enough to guess what would serve as a distraction.
With one snap of his figured, two darling, adorable little butterflies began to float about, making their way towards the damsel soon to be in distress.

So today she did her best to enjoy herself, taking the time to pick flowers in a nearby field to try and relax. Movement caught her eye, however, and as she looked up to see the butterflies she smiled.
"Oh...! Hello, there! Have you come to enjoy the flowers too?"

Where he waited.
no subject
"Wait, don't go..."
So enraptured by the delicate butterflies, she didn't realize where they were leading her.
no subject
Piercing yellow and red eyes stared at her from the dark, matching a Cheshire cat grin. "Hello, my dear." said the spider to the fly, with a voice of clear amusement. "You're quite brave, coming all this way... do my little friends delight you so?"
no subject
There was something about the eyes, though, that made her feel nervous, and her yellow feathered wings fluttered slightly as she ducked her head.
"O-Oh...I-I'm sorry. I-I didn't realize they were yours."
no subject
He jumped from the trees, and landed on the ground. But whatever startling imagery was seen in the shadows vanished once he stepped in the sun - it was a tall, calm gentleman with a green, yellow, and brown mis-matched robe. He gave off the appearance of a clumsy old sorcerer, especially with that kind smile of his. "Does this suit to your liking?"
no subject
When he landed in front of her she gasped, stepping back a bit. Even though he didn't look mean, something still felt...off.
"I-It...It looks nice. B-But um....wh-what did you mean...about making it your business to...kn-know what I like?"
no subject
A click of his - forked? - tongue. "You always stay the same. No matter how many people hurt you or mock you, you continue to smile and open your heart. You love all things in nature, even the painful, disgusting things. You are... so very curious."
no subject
Was he a wizard, like Twilight was?
She hesitated, his words sending a chill down her spine. She wasn't sure whether to feel flattered or...unnerved.
"I-I....I try my best. I-I mean, I'm not perfect, but....I believe there is good and beauty in everything. Even if it's not...visibly obvious."
no subject
"Oh, you don't know how good it is hear that." His fingernails clicked against one another. "You do love everything... which means you can learn to love me."
no subject
Swallowing the lump in her throat, she tried to take a step back to put some space between them.
"I-I...I-I'm sorry, I...h-have to go..."
no subject
The ground beneath them began to sink down, dark purple vines growing around Fluttershy's legs to tangle her up. As far as he was concerned, she was only going where he wanted to go.
"We've barely just begun."
no subject
"N-No...! P-Please, let me go...!"
no subject
Because by then, she'd have nowhere to run. The only way to leave the chaotic realm of lord Discord was by his will. "Now, why don't you just relax?" With a single wave of his hand, an elaborate tea set had been poofed into existence.
no subject
"No! S-Stop, please...!"
no subject
no subject
"Wh...Wh-Why are you doing this...?"
no subject
"Was I not clear enough before? I suppose the simplest ways are the best... That world has had you for long enough. I want you all to myself."
no subject
no subject
"Aside from your graceful beauty - bravo, by the way - you have a generous personality, a gorgeous voice, a loving heart, bravery, kindness, honesty, loyalty - your tea is getting cold - a remarkable way with all living creatures..."
no subject
"H...H-How long have you been watching me...?"
no subject
"I don't like to keep track of time." He admitted. "So... let's say a year. Yes, I like the sound of that, three hundred and sixty five days of devotion."
no subject
"A-Are you...planning on keeping me here forever?"
no subject
With that, he suddenly kicked off into a standing position, knocking over several cups and trays so he could dramatically gesture. "Welcome to my home... for am I Lord Discord, master of chaos!"
no subject
Discord...she had heard of that name. Twilight had told them stories from Princess Celestia about the lord of Chaos, and the trouble he could cause in the world. How he was capable of terrible things if it suited his mood.
And as much as she desperately wanted to be home...what would happen if she continued to resist him? Clearly he had no regard for her feelings anyway, but if she kept fighting...would it anger him? What would he do then? Would he take it out on the rest of the world? On her friends?
...She couldn't take that chance.
"I-I...I-I am...honored to be here, Lord Discord," she replied quietly.
