Consensual Kidnapping - Sonic & Alicia

 Alicia had finally gotten peace for her land, kept her throne, and gotten rid of the biggest annoyance in her life.

She'd never felt more miserable.

She stared at herself in a mirror, wearing the wedding dress she hadn't picked out. It was too tight, making it painful to breathe. Her hair had been put up, and in less than an hour, she'd be married to lord Scourge. He had proposed, quite literally,  this idea in order to end the bloody feud once and for all. It would bring stability the land needed. She still had some power. This was best for everyone.

So why was she filled with the urge to smash that mirror into pieces? She closed her eyes, unable to take that image any longer.

When when Sonic yanked, Alicia yanked even harder. She might even be breaking his skin with her nails. "I'm the one who found you, I'm the one who trained you, you would be nothing without me!" As she shouted, her voice became more shrill, more desperate. Perhaps she wasn't as good as hiding her true feelings as she had once been, due to everything that had happened in the course of a few hours.

"Don't you understand?! You can't leave me! You - You're - You're all I have left!"

Even if he didn't understand subtle undertones most of the time, this crossed into the subtle overtones territory. Her tone of voice sounded frantic and her actions matched. Was she..scared? Sonic glanced at her with uncertainty.

"You could just say your worried about me." But he supposed that was her little way of saying the same thing. He put his open palm on the one that clung tightly to his hand. "All right. Chill, Lady. I'll stick around if that's what you want me to do."

It had been become obvious, at least to Alicia, that control was no longer in her favor. As a result, she could no longer trust her own mouth. She hung her head, ashamed of how she had reacted, and could no longer look him in the eyes. Instead, she began to release her grip on him, having left a small bruise on his skin.

Sonic made a strange face once his hand was let go; he rolled his wrist around to coax the blood start to flow in it again. Geez did she have a strong grip. He was going to feel that for a few days at least.

Despite that, he put the hand on her shoulder and drew her into a hug. With that response of silence.. it seemed like she needed it. "Why don't you get some shut eye." He offered calmly. "I'll stick close and keep an eye out for you."

Again, she said nothing. After a moment, she stepped backwards, and then turned away, rubbing her arms as if she had a chill. But it seemed she was listening to him, at the very least, as she was heading into the bedroom. While it was tempting to undress for comfort, she knew her familiar wouldn't handle it, and she didn't need to give him a reason to run away.

Once inside the bedroom, she threw away any remaining grace and dignity, and simply flopped down.
