Bad Romance - Hurt/Second Best/Love Potion XXX - Alicia & Sonic

 By now, Alicia was used to the smell of blood, and the feel of intense pain. So instead of tending to the blood dripping out of the side of her chest, she was headed to a locked room within her castle. Due to having a familiar, she knew this wound would heal faster than that of a normal mortal, but it still hurt like hell. She momentarily touched the injury - it'd been a slice from a sword, from Scourge himself. To her, that made this twice as painful.

But no more painful than the last resort she was about to attempt. She fumbled for her key, and unlocked the door to the library of spells that had been both passed down and hidden away in her family. It was only to be used in emergencies. Alicia believed this more than qualified.

With a deep gulp of air and a hobble, she walked inside, scanning the spines to find the right book for the right potion.

"Ten-four." Sonic sat on the floor by her bedside and pulled his knees up to his chest. There wasn't much else he could ever do given he was a familiar, So he closed his eyes and tried to concentrate. If he could make himself a physical form with some concentration maybe he could help heal her up. It was a longshot, but hey, it was something.

The only sounds that could be heard were Alicia's light breathing, and the occasional weather outside from the window up high. She took deep, steady breathes, only trying to focus that and nothing more. Despite Sonic's current state, she decided she trusted him enough to sleep there in front of him, if her body decided to go in such a direction.

If it was Scourge under that spell, she'd sleep with one eye open. But... Sonic...

... Sonic was not Scourge. Simple as that.
