Spoiled Sweet – The Meme!

What does it mean to spoil someone? Why, lavishing them with almost anything – to the extreme! This meme is all about one character giving, giving, and GIVING to another. There’s no limit to love here, so if you want to play someone heaping endless love to another, or to be the one overcome with affection, this is where to be! Parent to child, lover to beloved, friend to friend, anything goes!

Reasons To Spoil

Holiday – Valentine’s Day! White Day! Christmas! International S'mores Day! Real holidays or ones solely in your canon/AU, it’s the perfect excuse to give and get gifts. Maybe it’s the first time this person has ever celebrated, a milestone of an accomplishment, or an anniversary of a special event!

Birthday – We gunna party like it’s yo' birthday. Will your character throw a lavish celebration, or a domestic one on one get-together? The world’s a better place since this character was born, so why not go all out with cakes too?

Apology – You dun goof’d. Whether it was a huge mistake or you’re blowing something small out of proportion, it’s time to make up! Although there’s always a chance of going over-board…

Ills – A twisted ankle, a case of the sniffles, or the bad brain struck again. Maybe some TLC is the perfect cure – or at least will tide them over until they’re at their best again. Become their personal nurse and spoil them back into smiles!

Ways To Spoil

Shopaholic – ‘Cause we are living in a material world. Drag that special someone through the mall, expand their wardrobe, glam them up with jewelry, have bouquet after bouquet delivered to their place. This prompt is all about blowing the big bucks on your babe, even if it means going bananas.

Sugar Sugar – Aw honey honey. Whether you baked them yourself or ordered them super special, this is about presenting characters with food galore! A big ol’ breakfast, lavish lunch, decadent dinner, or a delicious dessert. Stuff ‘em full, then make room for ice cream!

Hugs and Kisses – Sometimes love can only be felt, not bought. Give those tsunderes some hands to hold, cover that cute face in kisses, and don’t let them do anything but cuddling. This prompt is for those who feel others need to drown in affection.

You You You – Time is a special gift too! Maybe your characters just want a whole day of being with the other, whether it’s relaxing at home or heading off to an amusement park. Take them to your favorite neck of the woods, learn more about each other, and promise this won’t be the last time.

Mandatory Smut Option – I’m here for you, you dirty birdies. Spoiling can be a bedroom activity too, giving until it hurts – literally.

Wildcard – Stuck on what your character could do? Try a coupon – I owe you one massage, will do all your chores, or whatever the other character decrees!

[A soft hum in agreement as she kept stroking his hair, smiling at watching his face relax like that.]

In the mean time, anything else you need, my love?

Mm... [He sighed a little, reluctant to have her stop and move away from him. As relaxed as Allura made him feel, that ankle was still pretty unhappy at the moment. He pouted a bit.] I don't wanna move, but I should probably get my leg up and iced.

Agreed.

[Not to mention doing so would help with healing later. With another kiss to his temple, she lifted his head and slid a pillow underneath it to replace her arm, then moved to put some more pillows under his leg.]

Allow me.

[Keith gave a small nod, shifting slightly to make it easier for her as well. There was a tiny wince as the movement resulted in a protest from his ankle, but he settled down as Allura finished helping him. Then... a sigh with a sheepish smile.]

Thanks.

[Her hand gently squeezed his knee before letting go.]

Of course.

[It only took her a minute or two later to grab an ice pack from their miniature kitchen (the perks of being Paladins). In the mean time, four tiny little balls of fluff climbed onto the bed to squeak at Awesome Red Black Paladin Friend.]

Ah... hey, guys. [Keith really had no idea what they were squeaking at him about, but he put his hand out to them all the same. It would take a bit for the cold from the ice to get through the layers of wrapping over the splint, Keith knew, but it definitely helped once it did.]

[That's alright, Keith. They were used to not-mice besides Awesome Princess Friend not understanding them. Instead they'd just climb up his outstretched arm to curl up on his chest. Allura looked up from setting the ice pack... and then couldn't stop a chuckle.]

Well well... it seems you're quite popular tonight.

[Keith couldn't help but chuckle a little bit in return.]

At least they're not Kosmo... he's gotten kinda heavy for this sort of thing.

[Not that the wolf was far. He had taken over the small couch since the pi-pedals weren't using it, but his head was draped over it in a way that he could still watch to make sure his person was okay. Though, his ears perked up and his tail wagged a little at the sound of his name.]

[Allura laughed a little at Kosmo's perking up a bit.]

Don't tempt him; broken beds are a bit harder to fix than broken ankles.

[Or to explain to people without getting raised eyebrows and snickers. But then her smile softened at him.]

There, how's that, love?

[Keith snorted a little.]

That depends on who's doing the fixing and how.

[Still, though... even with everyone knowing about Kosmo and how big the wolf was getting, a broken bed would definitely get some unwanted whispered gossip.

He sighed a little.]

Thanks.

Of course. [And then she set herself back down onto the bed with Keith.] Once your ankle's less swollen, I'll be able to heal it more easily.

[Keith nodded, taking her hand in his free one. Since the mice had settled in on his chest, he felt kind of bad shifting over to lean against Allura at this point. He did give her a look, though.]

Just don't overdo it for my sake, okay?

Keith... [She at least could lean over and kiss his temple.] I've healed your ankle many times now, and I'll likely heal it many, many more. It's never putting me out, love.

[He snorted a little, not sure if he should laugh or not.]

I am kind of a disaster, huh?

[He sighed, leaning into the kiss a little.]

I'm sorry.

Now now... [Another kiss.] What did I say about you putting me out? You have nothing to apologize for. [Her lips curled into a wry smile against his brow.] I know I've been difficult for you quite a few times in turn.

[He lifted his eyes to look up at her for a moment, and then smirked a little.]

Well, we did kind of have a pretty intense start. I mean, you said we were worse than Altean children...

I mean... most Altean children did start combat training at a fairly early age.

[So... yeah. Yeah, that wasn't complete hyperbole.]

I might also have been... panicking. At the time. On the inside.

[Keith's smirk softened into a smile and he shifted to kiss her cheek.]

Yeah. I can recognize that now.

[He tended to be a little mean when he was stressed out, too.]

[Any tension releases instantly at the kiss and his words. Even now, it could be a bit difficult for her to let go of her old mistakes, but her Paladin family was always there to help her look forward, especially her wonderful Keith.]

I'm glad you do. [She shifted to press a soft kiss to his lips.] And I'm glad I learned to trust you as well, and get to know you better. I don't know what I'd do without you in my life.

[Oh, hey... another kiss, and on the lips... Keith gave a tiny hum in response, smiling against her lips before Allura pulled back to speak again. At her words, though, he couldn't help the next phrase. Looking innocent and pretending to be thoughtful, he smirked just a little.]

Probably still be sleeping in a tube with a bunch of mice.

[In all seriousness, though...]

But... I'm happy you're not. It wasn't easy, but... everything that's happened, it's made things better than I ever thought they could be. I have you in my life, and that's more than I could ever ask for, let alone the rest of our friends.

[Her smile sobered as she took his words in.]

I'm glad you found me too... [She kissed him again, tender and lingering.] Not just for the universe but... I would have stayed good as dead without you and the others. And without you, I wouldn't have been able to let go of my hatred, or temper my own impulses, or have a family again... I'm glad I can give eve a little of what you've given me back to you.

[This close, he was able to press his forehead against hers as he slid his hand behind her neck. His thumb rubbed along her hairline behind her ear.]

You've given me more than I ever felt possible. [Keith had been pretty sure he was just going to spend his whole live as a drifter alone, and a lot of his life experiences had sort of enforced that idea in his head for a long time. Yet, here he was... willing to stay here and be happy with her.] I love you, Allura.

[She leaned gently into his touch as her own hand combed through his long black hair. Here she was... safe and just as sure Keith wanted to be in her arms as she wanted to be in his and... home. She was home.]

I love you, too.

[She held him closer as she kissed him again, this time soft but lingering, breathing deeply through her nose as she took in his taste and the feel of his hair and skin under her fingertips.]

[He took in a breath through his own nose, kissing her in return, her fingers playing through his hair relaxing him. He hummed softly.]

You're going to make me fall asleep doing that in my hair.

[Not that it would be a bad thing, and he certainly wasn't complaining because it felt nice. Plus, getting rest after an injury was important. Speaking of, it was probably about time to take the ice off his ankle.]

Mm, am I? [Another soft kiss before she pulled away.] Well, I might have to continue then... but first, your ankle.

[With that, alas, she had to pull away and stand up to remove the ice pack.]
