come stop you're crying / it'll be all right (donald and della)
Rebuilding a Gummi Ship was not as easy as Chip and Dale would have anyone believe. Sometimes Della mentally cursed the fact they made it seem that way - but in the end, it had only been her own fault. It was going to be another long day of searching the entire planet for lost pieces, and hoping they would still work - not all of them did.
Off in the distance, she heard a sound, and froze. Sometimes this world got odd little "visitors" - black wiggly things with red eyes, silver hooded creeps. She could never truly "kill" them, as they didn't seem to die, but she could fend them off for a while. She whipped out a small man-made club she'd fashioned, ready to whallop whatever planned to give her trouble today.
She rounded a corner, not seeing who invaded her space just yet.
"I am in NO MOOD today for your shenanigans!"

"I am in NO MOOD today for your shenanigans!"

Then her voice registers, her face registers, and he drops his staff in shock, dissipating into sparkles after a moment.
"Della...?"
no subject
She blinks hard, several times. Is this a dream? A hallucination? She's afraid for this to be real.
Shakily, she holds out a hand towards him.
"... Donald...?"
no subject
Neither of them can believe what they're seeing, it seems. Is his heart playing tricks on him?
no subject
"DONALD! Donald, I've missed you so much! Donald, Donald, Donald!"
no subject
He pulls himself away, and glares at her through the tears welling up in his eyes.
"Where have you been!?"
He sounded angry, but he wasn't, not really. In truth, he was just upset, overwhelmed by emotions.
no subject
"Where..." She repeated the question stupidly, before outwardly gesturing with her palm. "Here! I've been HERE! H-How did you find me?"
A horrible, sudden fear took over her heart. Did he somehow get stranded here too?
no subject
He grabs her by the shoulders.
"We tried looking for you, Della, but there was no sign of you, I was beginning to think the worst had happened."
no subject
... She'd take it.
"I CAN GO HOME!" She suddenly yelled, throwing herself at Donald much harder than before, tears practically streaming down her face. "I can go see everyone! I can see my boys - my babies!" Now it was her turn to pull back, almost gasping for air. "My babies, are they okay?"
no subject
Mostly Uncle Scrooge as of late...
no subject
She grabbed Donald's hand. "We have to go, we have to go see them now! My babies, Uncle Scrooge, Daisy, the King and Queen, everyone!"
no subject
He starts leading her towards the Highwind.
"I guess you want to see the boys first, they're not at Disney Town."
no subject
She stopped, startled. "What? ... Why aren't they home?"
no subject
He pauses
"I hope you like long stories, Della, so much has happened while you've been away..."
no subject
"Busy with what?" And, honestly, now that she thought about it... "Why are you out in space?"
