[As much as Judy loves her job, she can't say she dislikes having a day off. She didn't have much planned for the day, so there's a bit of relief when she gets a text from Nick.

The subject, however, is curious. He wanted to see her ASAP, about something important. Strange... was there a case he wanted to discuss? Or maybe trouble in some part of the city? Her blood's pumping!

She pops in her ear-phones, and jogs out. Whatever the issue is, she and Nick can tackle it together! They make the perfect team!

She's so focused on whatever mission she and Nick are about to tackle that she has completely, utterly, entirely forgotten that there's a certain holiday being celebrated...]

[Valentine's Day was definitely not something Lena was normally into. It was too bright and pink and sentimental for her tastes, and seeing couples being lovey-dovey was enough to give anyone diabetes.

But then, that was before she started dating herself, and became one of said lovey-dovey couples.

Still, any actual Valentine's Day plans were still completely over her head. So for now, she settled for a bag of candy to give Webby, and then seeing what she wanted to do.

...maybe she wasn't a very good girlfriend, but she's trying.]

[Aaand here's Webby, sprinting to the amphitheater with a small bag over her shoulder. She's fit to burst - FIRST VALENTINE'S DAY WITH GIRLFRIEND!!! It's a momentous occasion, one for the history books! She's almost ready to trip over herself, running even faster when she sees-]

LENA!

[Hearing her name so cheerfully said is enough to pull her out of her funk - for now, at least - and she smiles as Webby hurries over.]

Hey, Webby. Happy Valentine's day.

[...gosh, why did saying just that much make her feel so nervous?]

Hey, you remembered!

[Double awesome! She just barely manages to skid to a halt, wobbling back and forth on her heels.]

Happy Valentine's Day! Isn't this exciting? Our first one!

[She then flips the bag over to quickly dig through it.]

I looked at all the cards at the store, but they weren't nearly good enough, sooo I decided to make one!

[Of course she did - and out comes a crayon-drawing card, with WAY too much glitter.]

[Despite herself, she snickers a little.]

Yeah, it'll be great. I've never had a reason to celebrate it before, so it'll be fun getting to join in for once.

[It any other circumstance, the fact that the glitter was going to get everywhere would have bothered her. But it's Webby, and it's a handmade card, and she can't deny how her heart skips a beat as she takes it from her.]

[On the other hand, remembering her own small gift makes her heart skip for a different reason. She's quick to hide it though with a small smile and the truth disguised with a joking tone.]

My gift's not as nice in comparison, but...

[She pulls out a clear cellophane bag, tied with a pink and white bow, that was filled with what looked like an assortment of chocolates, holding it out to Webby.]

[The card depicts all their adventures together, in crayon form - their first meeting with the Birthday Beagle Bash, the money shark, the underground subway, so on and so forth. In each one, the two girls are smiling and victorious, and of course there are little hearts and rainbows scattered here and there.

Webby had just been about to dig for the SECOND gift, when she sees Lena... oh! OH! OOOOH!!!]

... Is that for me?

[Who else would it be for??? She abandons the bag and delicately takes the chocolates as if they were treasures from a lost kingdom.]

... This is officially my favorite present in the history of presents.

[She laughs softly; from anyone else, she would have suspected they were just being nice or sarcastic. But she know Webby well enough to know that her statement was genuine truth.

Which just made her heart flutter all the more.]

Good to know I've set the bar low enough for Christmas and your birthday.

[She looks over, and hugs the chocolates to her chest.]

But that's different! I've only ever gotten gifts from Granny before... because, you know, she's my Granny. She kind of has to.

... I've never gotten presents from friends before.

[She'd actually meant a low bar for the gifts she'd be giving Webby for Christmas and her birthday, but that statement gets a curious tilt of her head.]

Really? Not even from the guys?

[Shakes her head.]

... Maybe they figured, they didn't know what to get me. I never really asked, I don't want to push them away. But... even then... I guess I'd always worry if they really got me anything because they feel they have to since we live together.

... But like I said, this is different.

[She gives Lena a genuine, tender smile.]

... You like to be with me. That's what makes it special.

[She doesn't think that that was a good enough excuse for the guys to not get Webby something, and she makes a note to punch some shoulders later.

But Webby's last statement has her smile softening.]

Well, I'm glad I could make your day.

... Oh! And I almost forgot, I got you something else!

[So what was the second thing in the bag she's now pulling out? It's wrapped in fancy red ribbon...]

Granny and I made truffles!

[She sucks in a breath.]

Oh no way! You made those?

[While she's been to France, truffles were one of those luxurious things that she had never been able to afford to buy, and couldn't swipe too easily.]

Yep! ... Well, if you wanna get technical, I tried to make them on my own at first, but after the kitchen-fire, Granny insisted on helping me out.

[A helpless shrug.]

[Despite herself, she couldn't help a laugh.]

Man, I wish I could've seen that. Was it at least an impressive fire show?

[She doesn't mind. Looking on the outside, it would have been pretty funny.]

I think it would have won over a few circus audiences. And this batch doesn't have the eggshells in it!

[Any attraction/show/scenario you want to thread out with these two? I checked the events on the site, and around Valentine's Day it looks like they're wrapping up a 35th anniversary celebration at Disneyland and doing some kind of Pixar thing at Disneysea.]
