takesyoubytheheart[Hey there hi there ho there, it's Mickey again! he cheerfully waves, though he's looking kind of exhausted - he's signed up for a lot of tasks for the upcoming Halloween party, but that's not what this is about...]
Hiya folks! My new pal, Kobayakawa Takakage, came up with this great idea! See, we still haven't figured out how or why people keep comin' to this world, so as far as that goes, people are still gunna keep comin'. That's a whole lot of confused, scared people comin' to a strange new place, and the first thing they could use is a friend! So my buddy here...
[he trails off, as he realizes something. A bit annoyed, he moves, and Takakage's image briefly pops up-]
C'mon, you're the one who came up with this idea! Say hello!
[ The young man in question looks uncertain for a moment, but his expression quickly changes to its usual calm. ]
Ah - good afternoon, everyone. I am Kobayakawa Takakage, from the Land of the Rising Sun. It seems that more of us otherworlders arrive each month, and those of us who have been here awhile may also require some assistance from time to time.
... So we decided to make the official Empatheias Welcoming Committee! It'll be our job to find the new people, alert others that newcomers have arrived, and help out the newcomers with everythin' they'll need to know! It'll be a great way to create community spirit with the locals, too! And we're askin' for volunteers! If you wanna help people, and you've got a good idea on how this place works, the newcomers need you!
In addition to that, we would like to create a form of support network. Many of us have skills not seen before in this world, and others may need your expertise or abilities in completing their tasks. This does not only apply to magic, but also mundane skills - and even if you are not a skilled craftsman, an extra pair of hands can still go a long way. Of course, it would be good to pay it forward. With everyone pitching in, I am sure our time here will be made more pleasant.
It's all about workin' together, by everyone, for everyone! So if you like what we're sayin', give us a shout, or come find us!
