Hades & Persephone - Alicia & Sonic
Maybe there had been a peaceful, or at the very least neutral, agreement between the worlds once upon a time. But Moebius was filled with dark souls, and those with power tended to be the darkness. Is that why they were so attracted to the light? Or had the idea of a 'good Sonic' so fascinated Alicia that it had become an obsession?
Whatever the reason, she'd given the order and her will was to be obeyed. She waited as patiently as one could in her throne room, her fingers tap-tap-tapping along her whip. Amusement was on her face - would he submit because of her 'resemblance' to Sally, or give her a reason to use her weapon? It would be delightful either way. As she heard footsteps approach, she slouched slightly in her seat. She did hope her soldiers didn't damage her dear pet too much. It'd be a shame for that pretty face of his to be black and blue.
The doors opened, and she smiled. "Well, well, well...thank you for humbly accepting my invitation."

The joyless air about the Throne Room seemed to suck the color right out of everything around it - definitely a starch contrast to the palace he was used to back home.
As the small group stopped in front of the throne, Sonic brushed the hand of one of the guards off his shoulder as they approached the throne. "Yeah. About that? You gotta work on those invites." He gave her a sharp defiant look. "And by 'work on' I mean I didn't get an invite as much as I got dragged here. Next time I'll take a written invite, thanks."
no subject
"Polite hedgehogs are a rarity in my world. I simply didn't think you'd come along nicely if I said pleased. Speaking of which..."
She rose to a standing position, placing the handle of the whip under Sonic's chin. "It's impolite to not bow before royalty. You may see me as Princess Sally... but here? I am Queen Alicia. And I'm to be obeyed."
no subject
Sonic gave a sarcastically flowery bow, complete with a flick of the wrist and a bow of the head. "Whatever you say, your pain-in-the-highness."
no subject
"I'd cut your tongue out, if I didn't want it for myself." She sneered sadistically, holding onto him for a moment more. "In fact, I suppose you're curious about why you're here at all."
no subject
The guards seemed to take the opportunity to shackle his feet with heavy chains. They clinked around against the hard marble surface of the palace room floor. Sonic frowned in spite of that. They were heavy and instantly weighed him down. Looked like she didn't want him leaving...
"I didn't think you cared enough to send me an invite to any one of your parties." He waved around to the rest of the room. "Looks like you forgot to abduct all the other guests."
no subject
"You're the only one I wanted." Her voice turned low, seductive, a hint of a purr in her throat. "Do you have any idea how rare a man like you is in this world? You're like a hidden treasure, and I am a very greedy woman."
Her hand lowered, scratching his chin as if he were a pet. "From this moment on, you belong to me, and me alone."
no subject
Tone aside, he shot her a glare as he struggled to stand up on both feet again. "I don't belong to anyone, lady." The chains--two twin collars around his ankles--seemed to indicate otherwise. Much to his dismay.
"All right, what's your game?" There had to be something else to this whole deal. "Scourge bothering you guys again? Or is there some other big bad that's buggin' you that you want me to take care of?" She had to want him to do something. He never knew the Destructix to aadvocatefor anything else.
no subject
"It's been said that actions speak louder than words." That was all the warning Sonic was going to get. She leaned over to push her lips against his own, holding it as long as she could. He'd have to be amazingly incompetent in order not to get the idea after this - or she'd have to try other amusing ways to get her point across.
no subject
"What the--! You know, you can't just claim people like you do to things." She should have known that right? That was obvious...right? "Sheesh. Try dinner and a movie first, at least."
He tried taking a very purposeful step back to put some space between them. "Don't you have someone here?" Did she? He didn't really know. Coming to Moebius wasn't something that was commonly done
no subject
"Oh, please!" She finally breathed out when she got her cackles done with. "Your counterpart is with whatever floozy flavor of the month will stand him. Maybe your 'Sally' is all sweetness and sunshine, but you'll find I am not like her at all. I want you, so now I have you."
She took a step forward, intent on erasing the space he created. "We can skip the dinner and movie. After all, I hear you like speed."
no subject
Sonic rolled his wrist, "Anyway, If you know that you're nothin' like Sal, then I'm nothin' like whats-his-face. Just cuz you offer, doesn't mean I'm gonna take you up on it."
With both hands up he managed a rejection with a smile on his face. "So thanks, but no thanks." He'd say the whole situation was flattering..but he wasn't sure it was 'flattery' he was feeling. It was definitely something else.
He stretched both hands above his head, "Anyway, nice hangin' out, but I'm gonna head back to Mobius and take a nap."
no subject
Alicia suddenly grabbed her whip with both hands, and it cracked in the air, mere inches from hitting his hip. She clearly could have struck him if she pleased - this was merely a warning. "Besides, it's because you aren't like your other that I desire you. And I'm sure there are qualities you'll find me in me that are... preferable...compared to your princess."
Another crack, closer to his tail, followed up by taking another step forward - and pressing her chest to his.
no subject
Not to mention pressing her against him like that? S-Seriously? The guards seemed to get the picture and shuffled out of the room without a word. Honestly, he'd felt better having the extra company. He nearly called out to them to wait, but they knew better. His pleading expression to them as they left didn't seem to matter.
"You said it yourself, you're two different people. Nothin' to compare." There was no doubt in him that Scourge would have retaliated for a gesture like that, but to him it just seemed using her weapon was just a bluff. He tried pushing her away again, this time a little more forcefully. "But I've dealt with pushier girls than you before. So if you don't mind, pushy ain't my style. Or does I want even matter?"
no subject
Men were men, no matter what the world. They had their fantasies, their desires - some men just had theirs buried deeper than most. It was time to dig. "We're both very beautiful women, wouldn't you say?" She reached up to undo a button near her neck, and then fiddled with the next. "Has she ever rewarded you for all your heroism?"
no subject
"Heh... I'm always happy to celebrate with all my pals because it's our victory when we get the upper hand. I couldn't do it without 'em." Humility; something she likely wasn't used to seeing in a place like Moebius, where their counterparts differed so much from their usual selves.
To be fair, humility wasn't his strongest suit. Though in light of the recent events back home with their team splitting at the seams, well, that would drag out the humility in anyone.
"What 'bout your team? Don't you guys have fun together when you go and do whatever it is you guys do?" What did the Destructix do? "Kick puppies.. steal candy from kids.. other evil junk."
no subject
"They are my servants. Nothing more, nothing less. And they have nothing to do with what will happen between me and you." She wasn't going to be ignored, not if she could help it. Which was why Alicia then threw her arms around Sonic's neck, trying to both pull him in close and keep him still.
"This is my victory."
no subject
Since they were so close, he idly busied his hands with doing up the buttons on the front of her vest that she'd so poignantly undone moments prior. "So. What. I'm one of your servants too?"
no subject
"You'll be treated much better than my usual servants." Her fingers ran down his arm. "All the chili dogs you could want, living in the castle, obeyed by everyone save for me...Then of course, the special privileges that come with being a queen's consort."

Once he gained enough composure, he put both hands on her shoulders and pushed her gently back. "Cute quips are kinda my thing. Heh." Okay, he'd dealt with some pushy girls in the past--Amy was in a League of her own, and Fiona wasn't exactly mellow--but neither of them came across as so...what was the world. Fourthright? Straightforward? Holy...smokes? Yeah. That last one!
"Can't we go on a date first or somethin'? I mean, I know what you look like, but I don't know you. If I'm gonna be a part of this it'd be nice to know." Maybe it'd buy him time to get the chains off and head for the hills.
...Geez pushyness like this freaked him out.
no subject
"I don't care what you want, what you don't like, and if you even have any desire to be with me at all. You are mine, Sonic the Hedgehog." She bore her sharp teeth, hoping he'd finally understand she wouldn't be reasoned with, nor so easily fooled like Eggman and the other foes. "And I will never let you go."
no subject
Run for the hills and hope she didn't catch him.
It usually worked in all other situations, chains notwithstanding. And so that's what he did. Sonic gave his best effort to turn on his heel and forcefully bolt for the door. Sure, no matter what he did he'd be weighed down by chains and she still had a pretty good grip (ow), but anything was better than this! Lady was nuts.
no subject
"Guards!" Alicia screamed, not ready to blame herself for sending them away. "Stop him!"
no subject
Sonic darted down one hall. Then down the next. He looked for any hint of sunlight that could lead him to the outside and presumably to the safety the open air could provide. He might've had the advantage of speed, but he certainly had no idea where he was going. It was then he came to a crossroad of hallways. "All right. Eenee-meenie.." Guards rounded the corner and prompted him to dart down a clear hall. "This one!"
no subject
As she raced after the escapee, the whip cracked in the air - and now the sound was twice as loud. "Get back here! You're not going to escape me, Sonic the Hedgehog! I OWN YOU!"
no subject
That voice was much too close for comfort.
He bolted away from it and tried not to let the noise his chains make against the floor give him away. And he ran and ran, through doors and hallways until he came to a dead end in what looked to be a large ballroom that hadn't been used in some time.
"Aw, nuts." Dead ends were not good. He ducked behind one of the large pillars.
no subject
She slowly walked into the room, her heels clicking on the marble floor, her whip dragging alongside on the floor. A bit of dust flew here and there, showing off the room's age.
"You can't hide forever, Sonic. No matter where you go, I'll hunt you down to the ends of the earth...and the next earth, and the next, wherever you are!" A hard crack of the whip as she approached the pillars. "What does that insipid little princess have that I can't give you? She'll never want you the way I do!"
no subject
Sonic looked around. The ballroom was nothing but a long hallway but.. there were small windows near the roofline. If he could climb up high enough that was his ticket out!
He made a break for the far end of the room that looked like it could have some decent things to climb. "Sorry, lady. Clingy girls just aren't my type." Well, there went his position. Couldn't hide it for long anyway in a sparsely populated room anyway.
no subject
"Get over here!"
no subject
But that wasn't the painful part. More so was the crackling shock he felt in spite of whatever had grabbed him, which sent a searing shock through his system. "Nghhh!!" He tried to get up even if his muscles didn't want to cooperate.
no subject
Now at his side, she placed her boot on his back, pressing him down to the floor even further. "But I'm willing to forgive you. Your bold nature is one of the things I admire about you, after all."
no subject
Sonic teeth rattled as he tried to lift himself unsuccessfully from the ground only to find a foot in the crook of his back.
"N..nnn.." Come on! Why wouldn't his mouth move? He managed to laboriously lift a hand and plop it in the ground again as he strained to get back up. "Let...g...o..." Aw, crap.
no subject
She took her foot off of Sonic's back, and stomped it in front of his face. "If you lick my boot, you're free to go." She sincerely doubted his ego would allow him to do it, but more than anything she wanted to see what his expression would be."
no subject
Sonic managed to master his muscles enough to slowly place both hands on the floor and try to weakly push himself up against the weight of her foot on his back.
"You know," He breathed in. "you might be able to use this ballroom for more than collectin'...dust if you were nicer to people." Obviously, none of the people in her Kingdom were showing up to any parties here. And given his present situation he couldn't blame them.
no subject
She snapped her fingers, getting the attention of her guards. "Have his first meal ready... Once I'm sure he won't throw it up. And have everyone stationed at all the doors, in case he tries this little stunt again."
no subject
Sonic pushed himself up and tried to stand, but couldn't quite get his muscles to cooperate enough to stay upright. He sat back down on the ground with his legs crossed and sighed. 'Geez, that thing packs a punch. I'm surprised it didn't knock me out cold.' He thought which scratching the side of his face.
"Think whatever you wanna, but you need folks on your side. Queen's need their people to be on their side. If you don't have that then you're not gonna rule for very long." If they weren't on her side, someone was gonna eventually boot her off that throne.
no subject
"Things work a little differently in this world, in case you've failed to notice." She said as she played with his ear. "Fear is a far greater tool than respect. Any threats to my rule are dead."
no subject
no subject
"He thinks he's invincible because of his speed... Just as you did seconds ago, I imagine. But take that away, and you're little more than a handsome chatterbox. "
no subject
After a moment more, he was able to get back up onto his feet and steady himself enough to stay upright.
"I'll get outta here, speed or no speed. And afterwards I'm gonna get you back for disruption' my night." His form of revenge would be something funny and harmless, like dying her hair green.
no subject
She grabbed him by the jaw, yanking him forward, nearly smashing their faces together. "It takes a hard will to survive in this world, and I'e had to claw my way to where I am. I have no problem doing whatever it takes to make you mine. This is going to be a long game for you and I. And I don't intend to lose."
no subject
Even so, he gave a low chortle. "You wouldn't believe it, but that's not the first time I've heard that kinda threat that this week." Heh. Being a hero sure warranted him a lot more threats than the average person.
He reached up and tried to pluck her hand from his face, though he didn't use nearly the amount of force she was using. She might've been pushy, but he didn't wanna hurt her.
no subject
She touched the whip on her belt but didn't take it out again. Just a little warning in case he tried.
no subject
The guards approached and Sonic and grabbed his arms at their Queens order. "Hey, watch the shoulder." He complained. Her whip had yanked him around enough to be sore.
He was l escorted out of the front of the ballroom and down the winding halls to the Queens room. It wasn't long before he took to curling up on one side of the bed for a nap.
