Who would have thought realm hopping would come back to have some extra benefits?

Due to much of their home land needing recovery from the recent wars, and the preemptive wrath of Grima, there hadn't really been much of a location for the newly married couples to spend their honeymoon. Then the brilliance of Anna shone through - why not use the beautiful resort found in the realm they once saved?

Ricken stood on the hot beach, gazing at the clear sky. He couldn't believe how fortunate he was. His family's reputation was slowly but surely being restored, the world was at peace, and now he was on his honeymoon with his... wife. With Maribelle.

He expected to wake up from this beautiful dream any second now. He even closed his eyes, taking a deep breath of the healthy sea air. If this was a dream, he hoped he would keep sleeping for a very long time.

She smiled rather confidently to herself as she laid out on her back and shoved the lotion bottle into his hands. "Since I interrupted your chore to give you a lesson, you now have to put lotion on my front too!" Unfortunately for Maribelle... she really had very little concept of Ricken's libido. While applying lotion was a chore for her, it very well might not be anything close to it for her husband.

"I don't feel like going in the water anymore anyways, so you may have to apply two coats. With the white sand reflecting the suns rays, it burns off twice as fast as being in water." Surely he'll grovel for forgiveness after the first layer, and Maribelle being the benevolent wife that she was would of course forgive him.

... This was a punishment? Was she serious? He wondered for half a moment if this was some coy, seductive game she was playing, but he then quickly remembered this was Maribelle and the very notion of seduction might have made her faint. how strange for him not to be the naive one for once.

"Oh, I'm sorry." he murmured, trying to at least lay the part of the woebegone loser. "But I guess this serves me right. What was I thinking?" Maybe he was laying it on thick, but for the chance of literally laying it on thick on her body, he'd say anything. This time he squired a dose onto his hands and got to work on those luscious legs of hers. Life was good. Life was great.

"... Man, Maribelle..." Yet he couldn't just admire her beauty without words. "... I don't know how you do it. You'd think with all the fighting we had to go through, you'd develop some meaty muscle, but you're as slim as snake."

That was a compliment. He would swear to Naga, that as an animal-lover, this was a compliment.
