Scrooge entered the library just to check and see if that was where Poe had gone, partially to stoke the coals of the fireplace. The library wasn't anywhere near as drafty as the slave quarters, but it could get a bit chilly when the weather started to turn.

He was somewhat surprised to see Poe there, but he bowed. "Master, Mistress is expecting you for lunch in her workroom."
