Scrooge could not see Drake, but his experience made him feel that his name had not failed to make its mark. He grinned grimly. But his voice immediately became more friendly as he finally had Launchpad on the line.

"Hello, Laddie. I hope you are heart and healthy in St Canard. Your roommate seems to be a little... a little lacking in manners..."

Scrooge cleared his throat. He knew Launchpad could take care of himself, yet he worried about his friends.

"Actually, I'm calling to ask you a favour. I'm sure you've heard about the World's Fair that's about to take place in your town. Would you be willing to help me set it up. For an, um, "adequate" salary, of course..."
