He sobbed as well, unable to find the words he wanted to say in English and defaulting to his native tongue:
"Fàilte dhachaigh, Della...Tha mi air uiread de theip ort...!"
Did she even speak Scots Gaelic? He couldn't remember, but his brain refused to give him proper words in any other of the dozens of languages he knew.
